Frequently
Asked
Questions
1
When should I book my wedding Hair and Makeup Artist?
We recommend booking 6-12 months in advance. Since we are based in Middle Tennessee, our peak season is from March-May and September-November. If your wedding falls during peak season, we HIGHLY recommend booking 10-12 months in advance.
2
Do I need to book a hair and/or makeup trial?
Hair and makeup trials are not required but we HIGHLY recommend them. It's a great way to get to know us as your artists and be able to create the exact look you would like for your wedding day so there are no unknowns or extra anxiety on the wedding day. We recommend booking your trial 4-6 weeks before the wedding. In our experience, almost always, the hair/makeup looks better than it did at the trial.
3
How long do the services take on the wedding day?
We prefer to block off at least 75 minutes for bridal makeup and 45-80 minutes for bridal hair. Bridesmaids and other wedding guests typically take about 45 minutes for makeup and 30-45 minutes for hair. We add in a little time at the end for any touch ups needed as well.
4
Do you require a minimum to book?
We require a minimum of $600 to come on-site Friday-Sunday. There is no minimum booking amount if you come to our in-home studio. The minimum is inclusive of travel fees as well.
5
