ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Way back in 2012 while competing in a pageant I was getting my makeup done and a bright light bulb went off in my head. I said to myself "I can do makeup like this too!" Sadly, I didn't take home the big title. BUT this pageant sparked an idea that later led to me starting my own business! I went home after the pageant and began researching, building my kit, practicing on friends and family, and then charging a small fee to do their makeup. I created La Belle Glam back home in Texas in 2014. I started booking lots of weddings, photo shoots, prom & homecoming events and even have worked on a red carpet event! I moved to Nashville in 2018 and had to start all over in a new area and market. I never truly loved the name 'La Belle Glam' and here we are in the south and the new name hit me like a ton of bricks - Southern Luxe Beauty was created.
Providing on-site luxury makeup & hair services is our passion and we cannot wait to meet you!
ABOUT KRISTINA
My love for all things beauty began at a young age being surrounded by a lot of makeup and hairspray. I grew up in the Cinderella Scholarship pageant program and took the title of Texas Cinderella Baby at the young age of 2 ½. In 2008 my passion was really provoked in my late teens during my cherished high school drill team days (those of you who aren't familiar with drill team just know it's huge in Texas and it's like a pom squad meets Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders kickline). I had a natural skill of applying makeup on myself so well that many drill team friends would ask me to do their makeup too. Fast forward 4 years to 2012; The beginning of La Belle Glam (Now Southern Luxe Beauty). In 2016 I met my husband on the dating app, Bumble, and we picked up our lives 2 years later, moved to the Nashville area, got married in Maui and we are loving it! We have an 11 year old pitbull, Rocky, and a 3 year old pitbull, Maui. Making someone feel amazing in their own skill is a true passion of mine and I can't wait to meet you and hear your story!
